Fluid collection in the ear is a disease that occurs with the accumulation of fluid in the middle ear, behind the eardrum without pain and fever. In adults, fluid accumulation in the ear can usually occur following a viral upper respiratory tract, such as a cold. These findings may be the result of a nasal tumour if there is sometimes a fluid accumulation in a single ear and there is a painless mass which is growing over time. Although it is a rare situation, it should be paid attention.
